Flex SSL Certificates

CheapSSL offers SSL certificates that support any domain configuration. These certificates can be ordered as single-domain or multi-domain certificates and can include any combination of fully qualified domain names (FQDN) and wildcard SANs.

This flexibility lets you order exactly the certificates you want and add extra SANs throughout your certificate's lifetime. The certificates don't have separate multi-domain or wildcard variants — instead, you can add these on top of the base certificate when configuring it.

The great options offered by the FLEX feature let you secure standard single domains, subdomains, public IP addresses and even wildcard domains all at the same time. Historically, there were separate multi-domain (SAN) and multi-domain wildcard certificates that didn't let you mix different types of SANs. Now you can order a mix of wildcards, IP addresses and standard domains, paying a different price for each item.
